Can my entire sermon be one segment?

Yes, we can finalize your sermon audio as a whole instead of multiple segments. The finalized sermon audio with its intro and outro can still be used in many places.

Please note: It is likely you will have a harder time finding a radio station to work with you, as most radio stations work in segments of less than 30 minutes in length.

What is a sermon segment?

A "sermon segment" is a 26 minute audio file of your sermon which features an introduction to your program and an outro (made in-house). Your audio will go through an editing process to increase quality of sound and we will be sure to take care when considering a good place to pause your sermon. The next segment. will pick up right where the previous segment left off, or may even overlap, to ensure none of the sermon audio is wasted.

Why specifically 26 minutes for each sermon segment?

68Eleven Productions works in exactly 26 minute length segments to create a sense of unity. From experience in working with various radio stations, we have learned it is good practice to maintain this consistency, not only for the ease of the radio station, but for the listener and audience as well. it can demonstrate a sense of professionalism wherever you decide to send your sermon segments, whether that be social media, your church's website, or on air.

Does 68Eleven Productions make personalized Intro and Outros for each segment?

Our focus is to personalize Intros and Outros for each sermon series or book that you have taught through. This allows for each book or series to feel individualized, and still group together all of the segments in that series.

What is the process for sending/receiving audio files?

Here is the summarized checklist:

We send you a URL link to a folder where you can drag and drop your raw sermon audio so we can inspect and make sure we will be able to work with it.
Once the audio has been inspected and approved, we determine together how many segments you would like each week, and 68Eleven Productions writes scripts for the intro and outros of your sermon series/book.
When the script has been finalized and approved by you, we will record and layer the Intro and Outros with background music, to finalize all in house.
After your approval, we will start making your sermon segments piecing each piece together. We send you a separate URL link that will lead to another folder where all the finalized segments can easily be located. Able to be downloaded anytime, with all completed audio files!
We will send you a weekly invoice detailing exactly how many segments we completed for you that week and how much is owed.

What are the best ways to use the finalized audio files from 68Eleven Productions?

There are many ways that these complete and professionalized sermon segments can be used. You can put them up on your church's social media, or directly on the church's website to provide a professional and inviting feel to help bring people the Word of God more easily throughout their day to day. Many pastors opt to broadcast on air with a radio station they have been connected with or 68Eleven Productions can even partner with you to create your own podcast for listeners on almost a dozen channels reaching a wider audience.

How can I get my sermons on a radio station?

We would suggest simply looking around to the different radio stations in your area. If there are a couple Christian radio stations that already have a lot of sermons on air, it is entirely possible that they might want to have your sermon segments on their programming as well. Just reach out to them and start a dialog.

Can I put my sermons on the radio station you're connected to?

While we do have a connection to a radio station here locally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, we cannot promise that we can put you on that radio station. We can let them know about your interest, and they will then look into your church's sermons and doctrine to make sure their morals and values match yours. Once that happens it is up to them to decide what they would like to do.

Do I retain the rights to my sermons after 68Eleven Productions makes them into finalized sermon segments?

Yes, your audio is yours to use how you see fit. We simply enhance the audio quality and professionalize it by turning it into segments with an intro and outro.
